As we move into the heart of 2025, we’re doubling down on making corporate travel and expense management more self-serve, flexible, and user-centric. June was packed with impactful updates aimed at giving users more control, streamlining operations, and making life easier for travelers, travel admins, and approvers alike.

From enhanced booking experiences to smarter approvals and wallet top-ups, here’s a closer look at the features we rolled out this month.

Self-Serve Wallet Top-Up is Here

Gone are the days of waiting on sales and finance teams to manually top up your company wallet. With our new Wallet Top-Up feature, users can now directly add funds to their TripGain wallet using their bank account.

Powered by Razorpay and PayU

We’ve integrated with Razorpay and PayU, two of India’s most trusted payment gateways, to ensure secure, real-time wallet top-ups.

What’s Changed?

Earlier Process:

  • Client requested top-up via sales team
  • Funds were transferred to TripGain’s account
  • Finance team manually validated and topped up the wallet

Now:

  • Log in to TripGain
  • Enter the top-up amount
  • Complete payment instantly via Razorpay or PayU
  • Funds reflect in your wallet automatically

This upgrade reduces turnaround time from days to seconds, giving companies more flexibility and control over their travel budgets.

Enhanced Flight Selection for International Round Trips

Booking international round trips just got a whole lot easier—and more customizable. With our new flight selection view, users now have the option to:

Select flights individually for outbound and return legs, or

Choose from a combined round-trip view for a bundled selection

Why This Matters:

  • Greater flexibility in choosing preferred low cost carriers, timings, or layovers
  • Helps optimize for cost, convenience, or airline policy compliance
  • Ideal for complex international itineraries where return dates or preferences vary

Whether you’re a frequent traveler or a travel admin booking for someone else, this update makes it easier to build trips your way.

Feedback Loop: Now Open

We’re listening—literally. With our new Trip Feedback feature, users can now share feedback directly within the platform after completing a trip.

How It Works:

  • Post-trip, users are prompted to rate their experience
  • Users can comment on aspects like booking ease, flight/hotel quality, support response, etc.
  • Feedback is reviewed by our CX and product teams for continuous improvements

This helps us identify patterns, uncover friction points, and deliver a more delightful, end-to-end travel experience—one trip at a time.

Dependent Bookings for Long-Term International Travel

Organizations with employees relocating abroad or traveling for extended periods can now make dependent bookings on TripGain.

Key Capabilities:

  • If the primary traveler is going abroad for 6 months or more, they can add dependents (e.g., spouse, children) to their TripGain account
  • Trips can be booked for dependents according to company travel policy
  • Supports policy enforcement and budget tracking for each dependent’s travel
  • This feature is ideal for global mobility programs and supports a smoother transition for employees traveling with family.

Approval Delegation for Out-of-Office Managers

Approvals shouldn’t stop when a manager goes on leave. Our new Approval Delegation feature ensures workflows stay uninterrupted—even when the original approver is unavailable.

What’s New:

  • Managers can pre-delegate approval rights to another colleague within the organization
  • The delegated approver can act on their behalf for trip or expense approvals
  • Delegation can be time-bound and revoked at any time

This prevents bottlenecks, ensures business continuity, and gives teams more autonomy to move quickly—even in someone’s absence.

Wrapping Up June with Purpose

Each of these features is designed with one goal in mind: making TripGain work harder for you, so you don’t have to. Whether it's cutting wait times with wallet top-ups, improving booking flexibility, or strengthening policy controls—June was all about empowering users and streamlining operations.

Looking Ahead

As we wrap up June, our focus remains clear: to build a travel and expense platform that keeps evolving with your business needs. These updates are more than just features—they’re part of our ongoing commitment to put speed, control, and flexibility back into your hands.

Whether you're a traveler booking smarter, a finance team managing budgets more efficiently, or a travel admin navigating complex policies, TripGain is here to help you do more with less effort.

Stay tuned—there’s more innovation coming your way next month!
