TripGain Engages Global TMC Leaders at WTM London 2025

TripGain had a strong presence at WTM London 2025, one of the world’s most influential travel and tourism events, where conversations this year were dominated by the changing expectations of corporate travelers and the rising role of AI in the TMC business. With more than 200 TMCs in attendance and over 60 expressing direct interest in TripGain’s capabilities, the event highlighted how rapidly the industry is moving toward an AI-augmented future.
Across meetings with TMCs from the UK, Africa, Canada, Middle East, and Asia, one message echoed consistently: corporate clients today expect faster turnaround, higher personalization, and consistently better visibility. Many TMC leaders shared that margins continue to tighten, operational load continues to rise, and traditional booking processes alone cannot keep pace with growing corporate demands. As automation and conversational platforms gain mainstream traction, TMCs are increasingly looking at AI not as a trend but as a fundamental shift in how travel will be managed.
A major part of the discussion revolved around what the next generation TMC will look like. Many agreed that the future model will be a blend of technology-led efficiency and human expertise - with AI handling the speed, accuracy, and repetitive backend work, while agents continue to lead strategic advisory, negotiations, and complex itineraries. This blend, they felt, is what will enable them to serve larger corporates without proportionately increasing costs or staff.
Within this evolving context, TripGain shared how it supports TMCs aiming to scale without operational friction. The conversations focused on enabling TMCs to present corporates with a more modern, data-driven travel experience: from quicker itineraries and smarter recommendations to integrated policy compliance and expenses. Several TMCs noted that such capabilities could help them strengthen their pitch to enterprise clients and differentiate themselves in competitive RFP cycles.
For many visitors at WTM, the interest was not only in what AI can automate today, but also how it can help them retain their biggest accounts tomorrow. There was a shared understanding that large corporates increasingly choose partners who can offer digital agility, transparent reporting, and consistent traveler experience - areas where intelligent automation is becoming a clear advantage. TripGain’s platform fit naturally into these conversations as TMCs looked for ways to enhance their offerings without building complex technology stacks themselves.
WTM London 2025 proved that the global TMC community is actively preparing for a new era of business travel - one where efficiency, personalization, and data intelligence will shape competitiveness. For TripGain, the event reaffirmed its role in helping TMCs adapt to this shift and continue delivering value to the corporates they serve.
